This easy hack adds a kick to your favorite jar of pickles

If you love pickles, and if you love Tabasco (who doesn’t) this one is for you. This simple hack allows you to add immediate flavor and heat to any jar of pickles you’d pick up at the store. You can even find these pickles on Big Poppa’s Upside Down Tabasco Butter Burger.

Spiked with a Big Poppa serving of Tabasco Original Red, you can serve these immediately, or let the pickles marinate in the jar for a few days to build up more heat and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz jar of your favorite pickles – Big Poppa prefers dill sandwich slices
  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco Original Red (or more if you have a larger jar of pickles)

Directions

  1. Open pickle jar
  2. Add a tablespoon of Tabasco Original Red
  3. Close lid tightly, shake
  4. Use right away for light heat/flavor or let sit in the fridge for a few days to develop more heat
