Ingredients

  • 1 rack of baby back ribs

  • Big Poppa’s Sweet Money Hot

  • Big Poppa’s Little Louie’s Seasoning

  • 1 can of chipotles

  • Blues Hog Chipotle BBQ Sauce

  • Cherry jelly

  • Brown sugar

  • Agave or honey

  • Butter

Directions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 300°F.

  2. Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane and trimming any excess fat to ensure even cooking.

  3. Season the ribs generously with Big Poppa’s Sweet Money Hot, allowing the meat to sweat and absorb the flavors.

  4. Make the sauce by blending 3 chipotles (adjust to your spice preference), 1 cup of Blues Hog Chipotle BBQ Sauce, and 6 teaspoons of cherry jelly until smooth.

  5. Smoke the ribs for 1 hour, allowing the flavors to infuse into the meat.

  6. Wrap the ribs in foil with brown sugar, agave or honey, butter, and a touch of your cherry-chipotle sauce. Seal tightly to keep the moisture in.

  7. Return the ribs to the smoker for another hour, letting them become tender and juicy.

  8. Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes.

  9. Glaze the ribs with the remaining cherry-chipotle sauce on both sides.

  10. Slice the ribs and add a final sprinkle of Big Poppa’s Little Louie’s Seasoning for that extra kick.

  11. Serve and enjoy your perfectly balanced, sweet and spicy Cherry Chipotle Baby Back Ribs!
