These Pork Steak Kebabs are smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor! Tender chunks of pork shoulder, seasoned with Big Poppa’s Sweet Money & Sweet Money Hot, paired with fire-roasted peppers and onions, and finished with a Bachan’s BBQ glaze—a perfect BBQ feast!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder (cut into nugget-sized portions)

  • 1 yellow bell pepper (chopped into large chunks)

  • 1 red bell pepper (chopped into large chunks)

  • 1 red onion (chopped into large chunks)

  • 2 tbsp Big Poppa’s Sweet Money Hot Seasoning

  • 2 tbsp Big Poppa’s Sweet Money Seasoning

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • ½ cup Bachan’s Original Japanese BBQ Sauce

  • Skewers

Directions

  1. Set your pellet smoker to 275°F.

  2. Cut pork shoulder into nugget-sized portions.

  3. Chop the bell peppers and red onion into large chunks.

  4. In a large ziplock bag, add the pork nuggets, pour in some olive oil, and season with Big Poppa’s Sweet Money & Sweet Money Hot Seasonings. Seal and shake to coat.

  5. In a separate ziplock bag, add the chopped veggies, pour in olive oil, and season with Big Poppa’s Sweet Money & Sweet Money Hot. Seal and shake to coat.

  6. Place the pork nuggets on a wire rack and season again with Big Poppa’s Sweet Money Seasoning.

  7. Put the pork in the smoker and let it cook for 25-30 minutes.

  8. After 25 minutes, add the veggies to the smoker on the top rack.

  9. Let them cook for another 10-15 minutes.

  10. Remove the pork and veggies from the smoker.

  11. Skewer the pork, peppers, and onions, alternating pieces for the perfect balance.

  12. Place the kebabs on a hot grill and sear for 2 minutes per side to get a nice char.

  13. Pour Bachan’s Original Japanese BBQ Sauce over the kebabs.

  14. Let them cook down for a minute or two, then remove from the grill.

  15. Plate the kebabs and dig in while they’re hot!
