Big Poppa’s Chicken Pot Pie is a simple yet delicious recipe that uses puff pastry and pre-made chicken filling for a quick and satisfying meal. Ingredients

  • Puff pastry

  • Flour

  • Chicken filling (pre-made, or store-bought)

  • Egg wash

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Lightly flour both sides of the puff pastry and the cutting board.

  3. Roll out the puff pastry to thin it slightly.

  4. Cut the puff pastry into two equal pieces.

  5. Spray a cast iron pan with cooking spray.

  6. Lay one piece of puff pastry in the cast iron pan, pressing it down to fit the shape.

  7. Pre-bake the puff pastry in the oven for 10 minutes.

  8. Remove the pan from the oven and fill the pastry with the chicken filling.
