This recipe features juicy rotisserie chicken seasoned with Big Poppa’s Desert Gold and Little Louie’s Seasonings, creamy mashed potatoes, and a rich gravy, all nestled between warm, flaky biscuits. With a few simple ingredients and minimal prep time, you can whip up this comforting dish that’s bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 Rotisserie Chicken (Store-bought or pre-made)

  • Biscuits

  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots

  • 1 cup Peas

  • 1 can or bag of Gravy

  • 2 cups Mashed Potatoes

  • 1/4 cup Half & Half

  • Butter

  • Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning

  • Big Poppa’s Little Louie’s Seasoning

  • Mayo

Directions

  1. Shred the Chicken: Take your rotisserie chicken and shred it into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a pot over medium heat, add the shredded chicken, Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning, Big Poppa’s Little Louie’s Seasoning, a handful of shredded carrots, a handful of peas, and your favorite pre-made gravy. Stir well and heat until the mixture is warmed through.

  3. Make the Mashed Potatoes: Prepare your mashed potatoes by combining them with half & half, a couple of pads of butter, and Big Poppa’s Little Louie’s Seasoning. Mix or whisk until creamy. Warm up the mashed potatoes over low heat if needed.

  4. Assemble the Sliders: Split your biscuits in half and spread a thin layer of mayo on each half. Add a bed of warm mashed potatoes, then top with a generous spoonful of the chicken gravy mixture. Place the top biscuit half over the filling to complete your slider.

  5. Serve and Enjoy: Serve the sliders warm, and enjoy the comforting flavors of chicken and dumplings in every bite!
