Important Information About the Drum

Please note the following about the pre-drilled carbon drum:

• Completely Unlined: This drum comes without any protective coating, leaving it vulnerable to rust. To protect it from weather elements, it must be painted with high-heat paint.
• Potential for Rust and Imperfections: The drum may arrive with rust, scratches, and dings due to extended storage and handling. Flash rust or imperfections can be removed with sanding or paint thinner.
• Supplier Inspections: Excess rust on the top of the drum will be removed by the supplier, but rust may still appear on the bottom or other areas.

These cosmetic imperfections will not affect the performance of your drum smoker. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for drums with scratches, dings, or rust, as they are inherent to the unlined design.

Assembly Tip:

If you choose to burn in the drum before use, we recommend doing so after assembly of pre-drilled parts but before adding hardware.
