Unlike most gas smokers out in the market, the CTO Smoker provides you with the best of both worlds. The CTO Smoker gives you the option of cooking with propane/ or natural gas alone, or you can simultaneously cook with both gas and charcoal/wood. Simply hook up your gas, load up the pullout firebox with wood chunks or charcoal and turn on the smoker. The gas will blow into the wood/charcoal, effortlessly igniting the wood/charcoal. With the built-in convection fan system (located on the bottom), the heat/smoke circulates from the front to the back similar to the heat movement used in convection ovens. The Ole Hickory CTO is designed for outdoor use, but it's NSF certification makes it a great indoor smoker in a restaurant setting. Restaurants all across the country chose to include the CTO in their commercial kitchens due to its outstanding reputation of being a reliable and consistent smoker. We suggest planning to place an adequate hood over the CTO to ensure there is sufficient ventilation. We also suggest getting into contact with local inspectors to make sure they approve of this smoker for commercial use in your area.
Delivery: DO NOT sign for your grill/smoker until you have unpacked it and confirmed there is no damage. If your grill/smoker or the outside packaging is damaged, do not sign for it. Notate the damage on the paperwork, take photos of the damage, and refuse delivery.
