Chris Lilly’s Airline Chicken – Juicy, Crispy, and Full of Flavor
If you think chicken breasts are boring, it’s time to flip the script. Chris Lilly’s Airline Chicken is all about crispy, golden-brown skin, juicy meat, and a buttery finish that takes every bite over the top.
The real MVP? Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning. This bold blend of citrus, garlic, and herbs brings the flavor, while a hot griddle locks in that perfect sear. Then, a buttery foil wrap on the grill keeps it juicy until it’s melt-in-your-mouth tender.
No fancy ingredients. No complicated steps. Just killer chicken that’ll have everyone asking for seconds (or thirds).

Forget dry, boring chicken—this crispy, juicy masterpiece is a game-changer. Seared on a griddle, finished in a buttery foil wrap, and loaded with Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning, this is how you make chicken exciting again.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skin-on chicken breasts
2 tbsp Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp butter (1 tbsp per breast)
2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Heavy-duty aluminum foil
Directions
Fire up the griddle: Get it hot over medium-high heat—this is where the magic starts.
Season the chicken: Give those chicken breasts a good shake of Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning. Don’t be shy.
Sear to golden perfection: Oil the griddle and place the chicken skin-side down. Sear both sides until you’ve got that crispy, golden-brown goodness.
Foil time: Transfer the chicken to a foil pan. Drop a thick pad of butter on top of each breast and sprinkle with fresh basil.
Seal & cook: Cover tightly with foil and move to the top shelf of a gas grill set at 300°F.
Let it ride: Stick a probe in the thickest breast and cook until it hits 165°F inside.
Butter bath finish: Plate the chicken and pour some of that buttery, flavor-packed goodness over the top.
Dig in & watch it disappear.
