Upper Grate slides (if you choose to order an upper half, three quarter rack, or full rack):
The Full grates give you the most grate space, but you can’t reach the meat on the bottom in the back very well, so those are better for longer cooks where you’re not going to be moving stuff around.
The Half shelf gives you the best access to the food on the bottom back, but of course doesn’t have as many square inches of space.
The Three Quarter is kind of the best of both worlds, where you get a good amount of extra space, but can still reach the food in the back on the bottom level.
Removable Fire Pot: Unlike other manufacturers, the MAK fire pot is a separate component that is easy to remove from its position to dump out ash build up. Simply pull the pin to remove, clean the pot, and replace it!
