Tri Tip Mish Mash

Cooking Grill: backwoods and Charcoal grill
Pit Temperature: 225 and then sear
Desired Internal Temperature: 140
Cooking Time: 1.5 hours
Pallets Used: Briquettes
Directions:
Ok I had to try this....Smoked the tri tip at 225-250 on the backwoods Smokers "Chubby" It is a real nice water smoker. I smoked the tri tip until it hit 125 the had the Charcoal Grill roaring with grill grates Seared it nicely on both sides and then rested and carved...nice!
