Smoked Cubans

Cooking Grill: BPS Smoker
Pit Temperature: 225
Desired Internal Temperature: 160
Cooking Time: about an hour
Pallets Used: Lump
Directions:
Took 1 pound of ground beef and seasoned with a taco seasoning packet, paprika and a dash of garlic salt. I grounded saltine cracker to use as bread crumbs and mixed them in to hold it together. You have to add a little bit of water to get the taco seasoning to mix but not that much. From there I sculpted the meat into basically the shape of the boat. From there I mixed cream cheese, red onions and a medium salsa and cheese in a bowl and then filed the boats . Add diced tomatoes to the top . Let cook on the smoker until 150 then covered the top with cheese and pulled at 160.
