FireWired Scampi

Cooking Grill: Weber Kettle
Pit Temperature: Grilling Temp
Desired Internal Temperature: n/a
Cooking Time: 5-6 minutes.
Pallets Used: Briquettes
How about some FireWire skewers loaded up with some Shrimp Scampi... I started by taking a stainless steel bowl & mixing up some Scampi sauce: A stick of melted Butter, some White Wine, fresh garlic chopped, fresh Onion chopped, chopped parsley, a splash of lemon juice and a bit of sugar. Then I took a package of 25-30 count pre-cooked shrimp and loaded them onto the FireWire Skewers & sat them in the scampi sauce to maridane for about 30 minutes. I took the shrimp out and heated the scampi sauce up. Threw the shrimp on the grill over the flames and let them grill for about 3 minutes per side, brushing on some of the sauce. I took the shrimp off the grill and onto a plate and poured the remaining sauce over top and served. We had it with some Reverse Seared Porterhouses and steamed Carrots & Turnips. Thanks for looking!
