Tri Tip Brisket Style

Cooking Grill: MAK Grill
Pit Temperature: 245º
Desired Internal Temperature: 190º
Cooking Time: 5hrs plus
Pallets Used: Pellets
Directions:
Cook at 245º until internal temp reaches 160º. Wrap in foil after covering heavy with BBQ sauce. Cook until internal temp is at least 190 and when a probe is inserted it feels like a ripe pear. Finished product is closer to brisket but moist.
