Sweet Potatoes, with oil and salt outside skin
We started the potatoes whole and ended up cutting them in half to speed up the cooking time. It still took two hours to cook the potatoes.
Cube of butter
2 tsp honey
1 Orange; juice and zest
2 tbs Pecans; chopped
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
salt and pepper to taste
We wrapped the potatoes in foil to cook a little while longer. Over the stove we melted butter, honey together over low heat. Then added the orange juice and zest. 2 tb Pecans; chopped and 1/4 dry mustard to taste with salt and pepper.
This ended up pretty sweet, I might cut the honey back a little. It was a great combo with the smoked steak!
