Baking this summer? When it's hot outside do your baking outside!
Here's an easy cake for you CHOCOHOLICS.
Chocolate Fudge cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon almond extract
Fold together all ingredients and place in 9 X 13 greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 for about half an hour. When toothpick comes out clean it's done. I placed the pan on the top rack with about 5 minutes to go with dinner on the main grate.
After cake is done mix the frosting:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
5 tablespoons butter
Bring to boil and cook for one minute stirring the whole time. Then add one cup chocolate chips and stir until melted. Pour over slightly warm cake when frosting is still warm.
My wife says I can DEFINITELY make this again!
