Bacon Cheeseburger Fattie
This was definitely as Big Poppa says) "Smokin' Easy"
Put 2 lbs. lean ground beef in a gallon size zipper bag to flatten out into a big square patty. Slit the sides of the bag open, sprinkle a little garlic powder on the patty & pile 8 oz of cheese in a row across the middle I used Monty Jack & Cheddar). Roll the patty around the cheese into a log & seal the ends.
Wrap the log up in a 1lb. bacon weave I used 16 slices of low sodium bacon). Give the outside a good sprinkling of black pepper & put it on the grill to smoke at 325-350° F for 1 hour Hickory smoke).
Slice it thick to go on toasted buns & top with your favorite burger fixings.
It was peppery, bacony, cheesy, juicy & easy smokin' good eating!
