After spending over a decade in Kansas City and learning the art of BBQ I've been dreaming of a competition quality pit for several years and I can't put into words how much I love my Chubby.....it's incredible! It's taken very little time to learn temperature control, and once you get it set it's so stable you can literally take a nap. To learn the heat distribution of my new pit I filled all 4 racks with white bread and let it run at 225 for about 2 hours. I was amazed at how even the heat distribution was. A little warmer on the top than the bottom, but the side to side and front to back heat distribution was perfect for all 4 racks. I would highly recommend the Chubby to anyone that's serious about BBQ and looking for a pro quality back yard pit. (Posted on 7/16/2015)
